Spanish American Committee Presented with a Check from Recently Awarded CareSource Grant

CLEVELAND – On Tuesday, September 29, 2015 CareSource Sales Team Lead Maria Ritchie presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to the Spanish American Committee (SAC) for a Better Community’s Executive Director Ramonita Vargas.  These funds have been awarded as a grant for SAC to help individuals dealing with homelessness and/or domestic violence.

SAC Executive Director Ramonita Vargas said, “SpanAm is always looking for ways to help those members of the community that are at their most vulnerable and with this grant we will be able to do just that.”

“The CareSource Foundation funds innovative, long-term approaches to positively impact critical health issues  and is proud to partner with the Spanish American Committee to assist members of the community who are suffering through homelessness and/or domestic violence;  issues that can very much adversely affect a person’s overall health,” said Maria Ritchie, CareSource Sales Team Lead.
